Time is Flying!

Nathan is now 11 months old.  This will be my last monthly update before he turns 1.  When Easter comes it will be his last-first holiday.  His birthday will come just 3 days after Easter and then we will celebrate at his birthday party.  Wow, time is flying by!

In the last month Nathan has developed a few new fun games he likes to play.  He discovered door stops and had a great time sitting and pulling them to hear the noise as they whipped back.  He also discovered that if he drops a ball in his tool workbench it makes a song he loves to hear so he does that over, and over, and over, and over again.

Another discovery has been his feet!  We bought Nathan a soccer ball a while back and were so impressed when he kicked it all over the house.  Next we bought him a basketball and he kicked that too.  I thought he had chosen his sport by that action.  Then he decided to kick everything in his path!  He kicks his toys, shoes, and his favorite targets (that I do my best to divert him around!) are Atari's food and water bowls.  His balance is getting better and even though he isn't completely comfortable he walks around only holding onto one hand of mine now.  The baby gates will be going up soon!

Nathan's first bite of an orange at 10 months old.  He was a little unsure of the taste...

but then wanted more right away!  He loves fruit!

Even though time is flying, Nathan is keeping me busy enough to not think too much about how fast he is growing up.  The joy of watching him discovering and learning new things keeps a smile on my face the entire time I am with him.  Now if only I could keep a masseuse employed for my back from walking around hunched over with him all day!
